This is the series that changed it all. I built it from nothing. I had a tiny budget, no template to follow, and an insanely short timeframe. I followed my instincts, and set out to tell a heart-thumping, fist-pumping story I knew the audience would love. What I created was an award-winning limited series that redefined what Australian podcast storytelling could sound like.

It's had millions of downloads and I still get messages about it to this day. It proves that when story and strategy come together, the numbers follow.

Trent Dalton

Trent called me after this episode aired to tell me I was his hero. He said he'd never heard himself the way I'd made him sound, and he was shocked when I told him I'd produced and edited the whole thing in under a day.

This episode went on to win Best Interview Podcast (Major) at the Australian Audio Awards. But what I'm most proud of is that Trent felt truly seen. That's what I do. I find the thing in someone they can't see in themselves, and make it impossible to ignore.
